Classification: Accounts Payable Clerk

Compensation: $13.00 to $14.00 per hour

A Medical Manufacturing Device company is looking to expand and needs a Accounts Payables. With in 24 hours of receipt and with 100% accuracy match vendor invoices with purchase orders, requisitions, and receivers.Verify authorized signature on requisitions consistent with Purchasing Policy. Verify quantities, prices, and shipping charges between invoice and requisition, communicate any discrepancies to department managers and resolve prior to issuing payment check(s).Code invoice with vendor number, invoice date, and due date based on standard terms of payment.Determine taxability of new and existing vendors, which require 1099.Update as require vendor information, i.e. change of addresses, etc in Remit to file only.Enter invoices into MFG/Pro in a timely manner consistent with department requirement for reporting month-end A/P expenses and issuing payment.Proof computer entries.Review weekly accounts payable check runs required weekly reports consistent with written procedures. Match file copies of checks with back up and maintain Accounts Payable filing with 100% accuracy.Mail checks to vendors each week.Enforce Purchasing specification for authorization of petty cash and cash limit. Working knowledge of A/P functions on the computer. Conduct interaction with vendors regarding invoices in a professional manner. Interact with all levels of employees in a positive manner. This is Accounts Payable Clerk a temp to permanent opportunity. Accounts Payable Clerk will have at least two years experience.

Job Requirements

Intermediate Accounts Payable, Intermediate Ten Key By Touch, Intermediate Documentation, Intermediate MFG/PRO, Intermediate MS Excel, Degree Preferred.
