Job Description

The Developer will work independently as well as collaboratively with peers to develop, enhance, and maintain .Net desktop applications and websites. This position requires an experienced, organized and self-motivated individual capable of prioritizing and managing assignments simultaneously.


Skills / Requirements

Duties and Responsibilities
Working with analysts and designers to understand the requirements of assignments.
Design, code, and test enhancements to existing applications.
Fixing reported bugs.
Work with project managers to determine time estimates and delivery dates for assigned tasks.
Writes specifications for programs changes.
Follows development process and creates appropriate documentation in work assignments such as program code, and technical documentation.
Evaluates system application needs based on user requests.
Recommends system solutions.
Communicates with the requestor, as necessary, to clarify user requests.
Following established development life cycle to develop, test, and modify system software, utilities, and other application software by Coding, reviewing, preparing test data, testing, and debugging.

Knowledge and Skills

3 - 5 years of experience .Net development
Proficiency in SQL Server 2005/2008 must be able to write and debug stored procedures, C++ and/or C#, VC++ programming languages, .NET frameworks
Working knowledge of C++, VC++ programming.
Strong skill sets on debugging SQL stored procedures, triggers, Views, Query Optimization Techniques & query hints.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS, Business Administration, or related area, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
