Claims Representative Insurance Claims / Customer Service

Job Responsibilities

As a Claims Representative you will assist our Loss Reporting Unit as they work to ensure thorough investigation and negotiation of settlements.

Your specific duties will include:

• Providing superior and responsive customer service at all times
• Receiving incoming calls from customers regarding claims
• Answering customer questions and providing information when possible
• Directing requests to the appropriate departments as necessary

Job Requirements

As a Claims Representative, you must be a dependable, personable and empathetic individual with strong customer-service skills. It is important that you have excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills as well as the ability to interact effectively with both internal and external customers.

Specific qualifications for the Claims Representative position include:

• High school diploma or GED
• 1 year of customer service or call center experience required
• Ability to type at a minimum of 35 WPM
• Computer proficiency
• Auto insurance background, preferred
