TECHNICAL RECRUITER
OBJECTIVE:
The objective of the Recruiter is to satisfy the needs of the Client & CPI in a timely manner. For the Client, the Recruiter delivers the most qualified Candidate possible for the assigned job opening. For CPI, the Recruiter conducts full cycle recruiting, negotiates the best possible terms of employment and closes the deal with the Candidate.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participate in all aspects of the Quality Program (training, cross functional teams, problem solving, process improvement, etc.) to assist in achieving corporate quality goals.
- Provide clear and meaningful feedback in both verbal and written form to the Recruiting Manager and/or team as required.
- Provide a positive attitude toward CPI Contract Employees & CPI Staff to facilitate and encourage good communication.
- Interact with other departments effectively to provide CPI Contract Employees & CPI Staff with accurate and uniform information on request.
- Function as a member of the company team in a cooperative and responsive manner to create and maintain a work environment which will allow the company to reach its established goals.
- Meet established individual and team goals that will contribute to the accomplishment of the annual business plan.
- Apply the principles outlined in CPIs mission statement in the performance of your daily activities.
- Comply with all the policies and procedures as outlined in the CPI staff manual.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and positive attitude to ensure a maximum professional image is represented at all times.
- Assist in maintaining the company database regarding pertinent applicant information to ensure accuracy and data integrity for a timely retrieval.
- Meet, as a minimum, performance metrics.
- Accounts may be assigned to the Recruiter to also be the Salesperson.
- Travel to your assigned account and/or other site locations from time to time.
- Acquire and maintain a high level of industry knowledge, to better match Candidate qualifications to the job requirements.
- Discuss assigned job opening description with Salesperson.
- Post job openings on approved Internet sources, newspapers, etc
- Understand the Clients needs to provide the best Candidates for the job opening.
- Acquire and maintain knowledge of CPI benefits to convey to possible Candidate.
- Perform resume searches for qualified candidates according to relevant job criteria, using CPI database, Internet, referrals, networking, colleges, advertising, association memberships, trade groups, etc
- After reviewing resumes and credentials for appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements, contact qualified Candidates of employment opportunities.
- Provide complete, accurate, and inspiring information to candidates about CPI, Client and position.
- Confirm Candidate qualifications, availability, interest in job, sell the job, negotiate pay rate, lock Candidate.
- Submit Candidate to all applicable job openings through CPI database & through Client.
- Keep Salesperson up to date on Candidate status.
- Keep Candidate up to date on job status.
- Complete reference checks if required.
- Coordinate interviews with Salesperson or Hiring Manager.
- Prepares Candidate for interview with Client by reiterating information about the job description, pay rate, Client and CPI.
- Extends offer of employment to selected candidates under the direction of Salesperson or Hiring Manager.
- Handle the hiring process, including sending out required CPI & Client documents.
- Assist HR with Background Investigation Program & Drug Testing Program & follow up on required CPI & Client documents.
- Complete hire form and send out hire packet instructions.
- Communicate with your employees on a regular basis to establish rapport, gauge morale and source new candidate leads.
- Answer Contract Employee questions or direct them to the proper departments to increase awareness and provide guidance for proper performance.
- Complete change and term forms on Contract Employee when information is received.
- Obtain referrals and sales leads.
- Perform other duties effectively as assigned or appropriate to improve productivity, company profit and/or customer service.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors Degree in related field preferred.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Thorough knowledge of industry.
- Must be a team player.
- Must be able to multi-task and have great organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills, including people & phone skills are required.
- Demonstrated ability to recruit for a broad/deep range of positions.
- Demonstrated ability to function/recruit on a national, multi-location level.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
- Strong initiative and solid judgment abilities/skills.
- Must be Internet savvy.
- Administrative skills.
