JOB SUMMARY:

The Divisional Recruiter leads all driver recruiting efforts for a division office. Primary responsibilities include developing action plans and establishing specific sourcing strategies to meet short and long term goals. The Divisional Recruiter is accountable for networking with internal hiring managers and industry contacts, recruiting and interviewing, and analyzing relevant trends to assess our competitiveness for a specific region.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1) Lead the execution of innovative and cost-effective recruiting plans

2) Understand market conditions for targeted sources

3) Build effective relationships with external recruiting sources. Work to improve the effectiveness of all sources.

4) Identify and assess driver talent and recruit effectively. Enthusiastically and accurately sell Van Truckload for SNI. Master the art of selection. Own candidate follow-up from screen to acceptance. Travel to Divisional Operating Center at least once per month as needed.

5) Understand the details of specific roles, compensation, benefits, and other topics essential to effective recruitment.

6) Ensure prompt and accurate compliance with established administrative processes

7) Measure source effectiveness and develop actions for specific driver recruiting improvement

8) Know the direct competitors in the market and what job opportunities they have available including benefits, salaries, etc.

9) Achievement of key factor metrics

Job Requirements

IRC51684-Divisional Driver Recruiter-Phoenix,AZEXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

1) Strong conceptual thinking, analytical, and planning skills

2) Effective presence, oral and written communication skills

3) Proven leadership and project management skills are a plus

4) Proven selling and negotiation skills are required

5) Minimum of BS/BA or equivalent work experience is preferred.

6) Human resources experience preferred.

7) Willing to travel up to 15%.
