Job Summary: EMCOR Government Services is in need of aLaborer in Sierra Vista, AZ

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist one or more workers by performing specific or general duties of lesser skill, cleaning working area, machine and equipment; and performing other unskilled tasks as directed by skilled tradesman. Assist in repair of mechanical equipment. The following tasks are typical of this occupation: Loads and unloads trucks, and other conveyances; moves supplies and materials to proper location by wheelbarrows or hand trucks; stacks materials for storage or binning; collects refuse and salvageable materials. Digs, fills and tamps earth excavations; levels ground using pick, shovel, tamper and rake; shovels concrete and snow; cleans culverts and ditches; cuts trees and brush; cuts grass; operates power lawnmowers and weed eaters. Moves and arranges heavy pieces of office and household furniture, equipment, and appliances; moves heavy pieces of automotive, medical engineering, and other types of machinery and equipment. Spread sand and salt on icy roads and walkways; picks up leaves and trash. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must have at least 0 - 2 years of experience at a commercial or private property. General knowledge of basic carpentry, general repairs, electrical, and painting.
• Must be able to continually bend, squat, kneel, lift, twist, climb, reach, stand and walk; to use hands for repetitive pushing, pulling, and single grasp motion; and to frequently lift and carry objects weighing up to 70 pounds and to move objects in exceed of 100 pounds.
• Must possess a valid driver?s license.
• Must have good verbal communication skills and customer service skills.
