General Job Description:
You are personable with excellent communication skills and enjoy supporting others. In this role, you will work under general supervision to coordinate adjunct faculty, monitor and evaluate their courses, and serve as their primary point of contact. You will work to manage both faculty and student expectations, maintain an organized library of textbooks, and also assist the Associate Dean with other administrative duties. You will keep the insides of our campus organized and running smoothly. Most importantly, you will make a difference in the lives of many.
Job Responsibilities:
Record the coordination of current adjunct faculty
Provide training support for enrollment, expectations, and tracking
Assist Associate Dean with faculty monitoring during the quarter
Actively monitor and evaluate adjunct faculty courses utilizing eCollege and FileMaker
Manage faculty and student expectations
Monitor Pivot Report during weeks preceding add/drop deadline for adequate scheduling of courses and accurate enrollment of students
Serve as primary point of contact for online adjunct faculty to address general questions regarding eCollege, scheduling, and student issues
Attend weekly team meeting with Associate Dean
Interface with campus Student Services staff to provide information related to students and courses
Assist Associate Dean with other administrative duties (i.e. participate in conference calls, maintain faculty files, etc.)
Maintain a well organized library of textbooks currently in use
Job Requirements
Bachelors degree required
Work experience in the education industry preferred
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong ability to document conversations and systems knowledge
Comfort with education technology, including: course management, faculty management, Microsoft Office, e-mail, and fax
Demonstrated understanding of literature-based teaching practices as they relate to online learning
Ability to work individually and in a team setting
Ability to follow process
Ideal candidates will be personable with a strong work ethic and excellent problem solving skills
