This position is based in our Phoenix office. This position reports to the Regional Managers in both Phoenix and Las Vegas and will closely coordinate efforts with ValleyCrests Los Angeles-based corporate marketing department.

Position Summary:

ValleyCrest Landscape Maintenance, a 64-year old, national company with 10,000 employees is looking for a high-energy, self-starting individual to promote our brand and enhance our reputation in the desert region Arizona and Nevada. The right person will provide marketing support resulting in business growth with both existing and new customers. This position will also support customer retention with appreciation and education programs.

 Requirements

Responsibilities

• Design and implement regional marketing and communications programs targeting prospects and customers to promote our brand, enhance our reputation in the market and improve customer satisfaction
• Collaborate with the corporate marketing team and regional leadership to develop a comprehensive marketing calendar and budget that corresponds to an approved strategic marketing plan
• Track and report on return on investment (ROI) of marketing activities
• Coordinate tradeshows and community events and drive pre and post event communications
• Develop sales materials and gift packages and order relevant promotional products as needed that enhance sales introductions and relationship development efforts
• Develop direct and e-mail marketing programs including adaptation of corporate approved templates and development of custom copy, as well as distribution list procurement and management
• Support proposal and presentation development
• Research and secure ad placements and sponsorships
• Pitch media and contribute on social sites
• Secure speaking and other thought leadership opportunities with target trade organizations
• Coordinate the photography for region for use and reference in proposals and presentations. Work with Corp Marketing to update central image database with local imagery
• Organize, maintain and manage content library for the region
• This position requires monthly travel to our Las Vegas office. Initially, this individual will spend one week per month in Las Vegas. Over time, after local relationships are developed the length of time will be reduced.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in marketing or related field
• 3 5 years in business to business and/or business to consumer marketing experience
• Some after-hours and weekend work anticipated and determined by implemented programs such as local event participation
• Excellent organization, communication and presentation skills
• High attention to detail
• Must be self-driven and work well as part of a team
• Creative and business writing experience a must and graphic design experience a plus
• Able to quickly learn new technology applications such as Exact Target, our e-mail marketing vehicle
• Proficient with computer software including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Adobe Creative Suite products
