Duties and ResponsibilitiesA business controller is a vital position of La Canasta Mexican Food Products Inc. Below are the basic duties and responsibilities which our Business Controller is expected to fulfill:• The main duty is to establish the financial aims and objectives of the company and will try to achieve that through clear communication and direction toward management.
• He or she is responsible for managing the accounting department as well such as financial activities, and examining them to determine the methodology for profitability.
• He or she prepares and generates timely monthly financial Statements 7 to 10 days after closing) and providing any other necessary reports from time to time as needed or requested.
• The duty also includes preparing tax returns and yearend financial reports for the CPA and internal use and organizing fiscal moves in and out of the business.
• The Controller has the duty to create the monthly, quarterly and annual budget.

• The Controller is also responsible for projecting $ amounts expected to be spent whenever there are new business opportunities to determine expected profitability.
• It will be very necessary to manage the budget limits and amount when there is a need of making major investments in the form of equipments and other resources.
