This position is based in our Phoenix office. This position reports to the Director of Marketing and Advertising and will closely coordinate efforts with all areas of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona’s marketing department.
Position Summary
Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona is looking for a high-energy, self-starting individual to promote our brand, strengthen our reputation and generate demand for the sales teams. The right person will provide marketing support resulting in business growth with both existing and new customers. This position will also support retail marketing programs.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement marketing and communications programs targeting prospects and customers to promote our brand, enhance our reputation in the market and improve customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with the marketing team and leadership to develop a comprehensive marketing calendar and budget that corresponds to an approved strategic marketing plan
- Track and report on return on investment (ROI) of marketing activities for continuous improvement
- Coordinate retail partnership, events and in-store promotion and drive pre and post event communications
- Develop sales materials that enhance sales conversion development efforts
- Develop direct and e-mail marketing programs and development of custom copy, as well as distribution list procurement and management
- Support proposal and presentation development
- Research and secure ad placements, sponsorships and partnerships
- Secure in-store opportunities with local and regional retail partners
- Organize, maintain and manage the retail software and materials library
- Manage agency partnerships
- Develop processes for software management as needed
Requirements:
- 5-7 years in business to business and/or business to consumer marketing experience
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field preferred
- Limited after-hours and/or weekend work for retail engagements
- Excellent organization, communication and presentation skills
- High attention to detail
- Must be self-driven and work well as part of a team
- Creative and business writing experience a must and graphic design experience a plus
- Able to quickly learn new technology applications such as Salesforce.com our e-mail marketing vehicle
- Proficient with computer software including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Adobe Creative Suite products
