Storage Administrator

The Storage Administrator is to design, implement, and maintain online, nearline, and offline storage.  The role is responsible for documentation of current configurations, technology roadmaps, and projects pertaining to storage systems.  The role is responsible for the physical and logical installation tasks, and other duties as assigned.

9. Tape Management Knowledge Areas
1. Fiber channel SAN switching and routing
2. Fiber channel online storage devices
3. Multi-Path IO configuration
4. iSCSI online storage devices
5. Virtual tape and physical tape libraries
6. Enterprise backup solutions
7. Hypervisor integration with online storage
8. Enterprise disaster recovery
9. Microsoft and Linux server OS
10. ITILv3

Qualifications
1. 3 – 5 years of enterprise data center experience
2. 2 years of experience in high availability environments managing fiber channel storage arrays and fiber channel switches
3. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
4. Willingness to learn and to be held accountable for results
5. Ability to lift 50 lb. up to a height of 3’ Application Requirements

• You must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis.
