- Internal contacts include other Micros departments such as test and documentation up to the senior staff and management levels; external interfaces include vendors and subcontractors.
- Design direction, functional requirements, etc., are typically determined by lead or manager.
- Experience reading and translating specifications and technical documents.
- Skills required for particular tasks include a depth of knowledge in Object Oriented Design and n-tier Client/Server architectures that employ application and database design.
- Typically familiar with 1 to 3 relevant areas of expertise; Experience with C#, WCF, ASP.NET, MVC3, CSS and Microsoft Visual Studio is strongly desired.
- Familiarity with Windows Azure, Microsoft Entity Framework, SQL Server 2008 or Oracle 11g is desired.
- Approaches tasks with analytical perspective; ability to meet multiple deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
