Compliance Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Identify compliance risk through completion of detailed business process reviews; Maintain the business process review schedule; Document, track and report on compliance/operational riks or issues identified through these reviews
• Prepare management reports to summarize findings relating to compliance analysis
• Provide guidance to business partners relating to the development of controls for critical business processes to mitigate compliance/operational risk
• Assist with the development of SOPs
• Conduct ongoing and targeted compliance monitoring and/or testing
• Assist in execution of the compliance risk assessment schedule
• Assist in annual compliance training development and execution

Requirements:

• Knowledge of Consumer Protection Regulations (Regulation E, B, Z, UDAAP, etc.) Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) designation a plus
• Strong written and oral communications skills
• Solid analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Results-oriented individual with ability to identify dependencies and leverage multiple sources of information at once
• Knowledge of PayPal operations a plus

Qualifications:

• Comfortable with balancing multiple, competing priorities and changes in scope / direction
• Capable of operating independently with minimal management supervision
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to build relationships with peers and business support partners
• Ability to work effectively in a complex environment
