Senior Test Engineer - DoD

Bachelors degree in technical field and at least 9 years of job-related experience; Vocational/Technical school or Associates degree and at least 12 years of job related experience; or equivalent combination of experience. Requires Radar operator and maintainer experience with hands on engineering and data analysis capabilities. Must be a motivated, self-starter with a proven track record of success in the Field Artillery community.Requires excellent communications and analytical skills; working knowledge of computer systems and integrated software application programs. Position may require travel. Position requires the ability to pass and maintain a DoD Security Clearance / active clearance preferred.

Responsibilities include ownership of LRIP DT1 test events including daily reporting of radar status, range EMI and firing deconfliction, radar movements and all YPG Test officer and LMC interactions. Duties require facilitation of all Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) test plans on complete LRIP test program radar assets. Asset planning and execution of LUT and DT2 events at all test locations are required. Ownership and coordination of EMI / EMC events at WSMR, EW, Sand and Dust, CRTC, Performance, Reliability and Environmental Testing events. Lead and coordinate the installation, modification, monitoring, operation, testing, and servicing of equipment and systems at company and client sites.Provide technical data and evaluation for components, equipment and systems consistent with engineering plans, layout and contract requirement. May support engineers in the development of a technical proposal and provide input on the technical content and level of effort of the proposed scope of work.
