Job Description

Do you want to create the solution globally recognized companies will use to manage their mobile devices? You’ll be responsible for identifying the market needs, defining a roadmap, and working with our User Experience, Engineering, Quality, and customer facing teams to deliver that solution. You’ll have an opportunity to expand your solution and your role into more areas of our world-class enterprise endpoint management and security suite.

You will need to bring a successful track record of software product definition, development, and launches – preferably in enterprise software, and preferably related to mobile devices. The Product Manager role is responsible for the definition and successful launch of one or more products in the Lumension product portfolio.
Responsibilities include:

• Researching customer and market needs and wants
• Conduct hands-on and external analyses of competitive products
• Creating business plans for products and releases
• Establishing and maintaining the product roadmap by prioritizing solutions to align with market opportunities
• Collaborate with other Product Managers to establish the Lumension Product Portfolio roadmap based on relative priorities and available resources
• Working collaboratively with Architecture, Engineering, and User Experience to develop solutions which meet market needs and wants
• Be the subject matter expert for the product
• Represent the customer for the design and development teams
• Work closely with Engineering and QA to successfully meet release milestones
• Work with Marketing to establish key value propositions and messaging
• Ensure sales, support, and technical personnel are properly trained to sell, deploy, and support the product
• Work with Enterprise Applications, Legal, Finance, Sales Operations, and other internal departments to ensure the proper facilities are in place to fulfill the sales and support of the product
• Conduct product demonstrations for partners and key prospects
• Fulfill scrum duties of Product Owner as needed, including conducting sprint planning and review meetings, and maintaining the product backlog.

Experience Required

• 3 to 6 years of experience managing software products
• Enterprise software a plus
• Mobile device experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a technical or management discipline
