Summary

Network Technician II

Phoenix-based company is looking for a experienced network technician for a 6 month contract position. Cisco experience REQUIRED (i.e. CCNA). CCNP is a plus.

This role is responsible for implementation and deployment of customer requirements. In addition, this person will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the IP network solutions for customers as well as internal operations. This technician is a telecommunications transmission technical expert and will have some experience and knowledge in at least one of the other technical disciplines (SONET /TCP/IP).

TECHNICAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Preferably gained in a telecom/ISP environment, proven knowledge of transmission equipment - Mechanical and Electrical cross connects. Proven working knowledge of TCP/IP, IP addressing and ARIN/RIPE regulations. Demonstrable understanding of Internet services; DNS, Mail (SMTP) and News.
